I accidentally nudged a 16GB USB stick that I had plugged into my MacBook and now it won’t work, what should I do?
I plugged a 16GB USB stick into my MacBook and then nudged it sideways with my arm. I received an error message saying that the stick hadn’t ejected properly. I then took it out and plugged it back in again a few times but I couldn’t access any of my files in the USB stick. I then tried it in my PC and it also wouldn’t let me access the files saved. Can you help?
Absolutely. Due to the small and portable nature of USB sticks, they are sometimes easy to accidentally damage. We deal with this kind of problem on a regular basis and our engineers are adept at performing data recovery on USB devices.
