My External plug in Iomega 500G Hard drive is not being recognised by the BIOS, can you help?
It’s around 3 years old and suddenly it started making repetitive clicking noises when I try to start. I’m not fussed about the hard drive so much but I do really want to retrieve data from it, like photos that will otherwise be lost. Is this feasible?
When a hard drive is not recognised by the BIOS, this points to some kind of logical failure of the system. It is entirely feasible to recover lost data from the hard drive by forcing the hard drive to read around problematic sectors. Contact us for a free diagnosis of your hard drive to see if it is recoverable and how we can restore your data.
Please call us on (833) 503-1087 if you’d like to take advantage of our toll free diagnosis service and discuss the specifics of your situation in more detail. Alternatively, you may complete the free online quote here.
